21,000 women a year are diagnosed with ovarian cancer in the U.S. , and it kills 14,000. That is only a small percentage of women who get to continue to see their familes.
“It is the fifth leading cause of cancer deaths”, author Meagan Fox said.
Ovarian Cancer is till being treated as a single cancer ,there are multiple types of cancer that make up ovarian cancer.
Women are not given may options when it comes to treatment ,and majority do not receive the best care.
Women have a better chance at survival when she is treated by a gynecologic cancer specialist. Most facilities do not offer that type of specialist.
The signs are hard to pinpoint or are misdiagnosed because the symptoms include bleeding and bloating. Cancerous cells are often not detected until the cells travel to other parts of the body.

Its important for women and men who love women to pay attention to these signs.
Women tend to jungle multiple roles such as mother, wife, employee ,but they forget to play the role of caregiver from themselves.
Women should pay more attention to the signs and also making sure if they do have symptoms they are going ahead and being seen by a doctor.
Now some women do not have the luxury of going to a doctor because they do not have health insurance which could contribute to the number of deaths in the United States.
Although ovarian cancer is not as popularized as breast cancer or skin cancer it is still be taken seriously.
